The tournament will be a four (4) game format.
The format will be a two (2) game pool play and then advance to a (2) double elimination game tournament bracket. All teams should be ready to play on Thursday, July 18, 2019 beginning at 8:00 AM. Teams are required to participate in pool play.
SUMMIT OF SOFTBALL:
From I-75 North take Exit 11 (Ooltewah/Hwy 11 & 64) Turn right and travel to Little Debbie Parkway. Turn right onto Little Debbie Parkway and travel to Apison Pike. Turn right onto Apison Pike and travel to Lacollina Way. Turn left onto Lacollina Way and this will go into the park.
From I-75 South take Exit 11 (Ooletwah/Hwy 11& 64) Turn left and follow the above directions.
WARNER PARK:
From I-24 East take Exit 180a (Rossville Blvd/Central Ave Exit)
Exit right cross Rossville Blvd onto 23rd Street. Travel to Holtzclaw Ave. Turn left onto Holtzclaw Ave. and continue to McCallie Ave. The park has two entrances 1) Turn left onto McCallie Ave and the park entrance is on the right. 2) Continue on Holtzclaw to 3rd Street. Turn left onto 3rd Street and the entrance to the park is on the right.
From 1-24 West take Exit 181 (Fourth Ave). Turn right, travel to traffic light at 23rd Street and turn left onto 23rd Street. Continue to Holtzclaw Ave. and turn right onto Holtzclaw Ave. and follow above directions. CAMP JORDAN PARK@ East Ridge: 323 Camp Jordan Parkway, East Ridge, TN 37412
From I-75 South take Exit 1 (East Ridge/ Hwy 41). Turn left onto Hwy 41 cross interstate and Camp Jordan park entrance is on the left.
From I-75 North take Exit 1-a (East Ridge/Hwy 41). Turn right and Camp Jordan park entrance is on the left.
Teams will be accepted in the order that payment is received.
A $300 deposit or Full Payment is required to reserve your team a spot in the tournament.

Players DO NOT need to check in.
The managers’ meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, July 17, 2019. Only 2 managers from each team are requested to attend the managers meeting. We cannot emphasize the importance of attendance at the managers meeting. The tournament rules, format and any necessary changes will be covered.

NSA rules will govern all play in strict accordance with the NSA Rule Book. It is the coach/managers responsibility to know the rules & bylaws of NSA. Ignorance of a rule or bylaw of NSA does NOT negate the penalty. NSA rule book is available for coaches online 24/7 at PlayNSA.com. All games, including Championship Games will be run with a Time Limit and Mercy/Run Rules.
Softball: NSA black stitched optic yellow softballs are provided. Umpires will control the balls and umpire decisions are final on softballs.
NSA Approved Equipment: It is the coaches/players' responsibility to check their bats for the Approved Company and the proper stamp prior to bringing them into play. Check the NSA Approved Equipment List if you have any questions.
All managers can be required to furnish proof of age (birth certificate, driver’s license, etc.) for any player on their team at any time during the tournament. Roster checks can be conducted at any time during the tournament.
The awards will include but not limited to the following:
First place through fifth place team trophy for each division of play.
First place through fourth place individual awards for each division of play.
World Series Championship patches for the champions in each age division.
CHAMPIONSHIP TEAMS WILL BE GIVEN WORLD SERIES RINGS
The Tournament committee reserves the right to change game times, playing fields, dates or format including eliminating the loser’s bracket to complete the tournament. There is an assumption of risk in competing in the Tournament and the Tournament Committee, City of East Ridge, City of Chattanooga and NSA, and any or all sponsors are not liable for any accidents or injuries. The Tournament Committee will rule on all matters as they occur. The Rule Protest Fee is $75.00 cash (refunded if protest is upheld). Entry into the tournament constitutes agreement to these conditions.
A variety of official NSA souvenirs (t-shirts, caps and miscellaneous items) provided by Team IP will be on sale at designated sites throughout the tournament.
